The bus was delayed 1.5hrs and then the supposedly 4 hour trip took 5.5 hours. The bus company prioritises filling the bus with passengers over sticking to a schedule. Our bags were well looked after under the bus and tickets for luggage were issued.

Obwohl der Bus von Anfang am Bahnhof in Cartagena stand, sind wir statt um 10:30 Uhr erst um 12:30 Uhr nach Santa Marta losgefahren. Dadurch haben wir in Santa Marta keinen Bus mehr nach Minca bekommen, haben den Sonnenuntergang verpasst und mussten mit dem Taxi weiterfahren. Zunächst wurden wir zudem in den falschen Bus gesetzt (nach klarer Kommunikation unsererseits auf sicherem Spanisch, dass wir nach Santa Marta müssen). Auf dem Weg haben wir alle paar Minuten angehalten, um Leute mitzunehmen (ab und zu sind wir von vielen anderen Fahrten in Kolumbien gewöhnt, aber das hat neue Dimensionen angenommen). Dadurch sind wir zusätzlich zur Verspätung auch noch länger als angegeben gefahren. Sauberkeit war mittelmäßig und der Bus hat durchgehend Quietschgeräusche und andere Geräusche gemacht, als ob er fast auseinanderfallen würde. Bei der nächsten Fahrt werden wir definitiv ein anderes Busunternehmen wählen.

The conduct of the driver and assistant was unsatisfactory. The duration of the journey was excessive. The seating was damaged, and the air conditioning system was ineffective. The restroom door was inoperable, and the facility itself was unsanitary. This experience was characterized by an extended travel time and uncomfortable temperatures.

The bus left 90 minutes after the scheduled departure time, and after the drive had stopped a few times to argue with people on the side of the road we did eventually make it to our destination over 2 hours later than scheduled. The drive was the most dangerous I have witnessed in Colombia. No effort to communicate with passengers prior to departure and arrived to an empty kiosk. Very unprofessional service. Pay the extra money and use a different provider.

We got almost killed by the driver. The crew engaged into a fight and then left the station driving excessively fast while frequently bypassing cars on the road, driving on the opposite side of the road.
