Bus from Midrand to Mthatha: Tickets & Timetables

The journey was good. Driving was exceptional. Service top notch. The bus arrived on time. I enjoyed everything.

Our Bus stacked with us for 7 hours ...I was going to the funeral that day I ended up not making it

There was no communication with the driver and also the seats were small. Charging ports most were not working

The fact that I did not arrive on time I had to hike to were I was going,and next time do something about going to ngcobo they are the once who delayed the bus

We lost luggage and your handling of the matter - or lack therefore - was despicable

The worst bus ever , it was very bad, they used cardboard to close the windows. We arrived 4 hours late than the ETA, the bus kept on overheating and being stuck! We were the offloaded to another bus, which dropped us at the bus station and my destination was Ultra City. The drivers were helpful as they ensured I go to Ultra city

The bus was an hour late, then broke down in Villiers and we waited for the mechanic to fix the bus and that took another hour. Then the bus started to overheat in Pietermaritzburg, and eventually two tyres burst just outside of Mzimkhulu so they sent another bus from Kokstad - that was about an hour and a half. The 2nd bus arrived and we moved to it - it didn’t even drive for a kilometre and it broke down. It’s 11h14 and we were supposed to arrive at the destination at 07h10. We’re waiting for a third bus.

Comfortable and quick. Didn't like the fact that bus never stopped for us to buy food and stuff

The bus was 1 hour late with no communication. I called the coach but no one picked up.

Worst experience thus far especially as my first and last trip with them, my first impression was bad, arrived 2 hours late to my destination, bus smelled like urine, driver was reckless when conducting overtakes and always on his phone when driving, i won't ever again use Deltas services

Delra was 1 hour late to depart Midrand, we left joburg to mthatha at 22h00 along the road it started raining it pouring rain inside everyone was wet, then it started binding wheels smoke inside the bus everyone screaming bus is on fire when approaching Mont Frere we got pulled off by police only to find the bus is not roadworthy drove to police station they impound the bus we had to wait for another bus from Mthatha. Delta is the worse bus service ever

The trip was smooth. Bus very clean, seats comfortable and everything was in great condition. The staff very professional. I liked that I could charge my phone, etc. I was very impressed. I didn’t mind that we were over an hour late, as I’d rather be safe than early.

Heat on the bus was excessive, sweated & suffocated most of the journey, lots of cockroaches, my chair was not adjustable for sleeping 😌

1. Bus broke down in Montrose, we waited for an exchange bus which arrived 6 hours later. Could be the busses allocated to the Mthatha route are old.

The trip was good. The seats were very comfortable and all the drivers were well experienced. The only issue i have is that I was never refunded a ticket I bought last year July, I called and emailed till today I never got any response.

The experience was great it had an inside toilet, their seats recline smoothly. But what I didn't like is that it had only one stop, and there's no enough leg room between the seats

I enjoyed that the bus had a heater especially traveling at night in Winter. I didn’t like that we only had 2 stops and it was only 15 minutes that was too short for me especially traveling a long distance.

Bus arrived late, my drop off was supposed to be Ultra City but they told me they don’t pass there which left me a bit stranded. The bus has cockroaches a major health concern.
