A total disaster, from the 35 minutes late arrival to the 45 minutes late departure from Perpignan, the 10 minute stop at a gas station near Girona to get directions to the unscheduled stop at Girona Airport to put off one passenger, adding 10 minutes to everyone else’s trip. Also the entirely misleading announcements at Barcelona Nord promising quick departure to BCN airport (instead they spent 20 minutes trying to pump the toilet) and especially the 80 minute late arrival at BCN. Cost to me an 184 EUR replacement flight, a 120 EUR replacement room in a city with a flight. I can’t ever trust ALSA to deliver me to a plane with less than 4 hours of margin. I only missed it by 20 minutes but I will go back to trusting the train, which zoomed past us near Figueres.
