The bus left on time, but the driver on the return trip was rude when I asked him to let me off at a safer spot (Esso Station), which is about 3 minutes maximum from the depot (I & P Mechanic) and is en route to the next destination. He refused to do so, even though the previous driver had done so in the past. The manner in which he spoke to me was unprofessional and brusque. Clearly passenger safety is a lesser priority for Cold Shot. The current depot is in an isolated and unsafe area of High Prairie. Also, please reinforce to drivers that they should NOT be glancing at their mobile phones during the trip. One second can change a passenger’s life forever and cause permanent disability from an accident or death. The bathrooms at the Slave Lake and Edmonton depot need attention and more regular cleaning, especially replenishing the soap, and emptying the overflowing garbage bins.
