Bus from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth: Tickets & Schedules

The driver didn’t know where he was going, he kept losing direction, the bus almost tilted over thrice and my trip delayed by 3 hours because the driver wasn’t using the gps and kept getting lost. We spent almost an hour trying to find the Intercape offices in PE after they dropped off the Utenhuig passengers at the wrong spot.

First of all the bus left Cape Town an hour late instead of 18:30,no one updated us why we were delayed 2.The bus arrived at 8:45 am in PE instead of 06:35. 3.The finally the bus is very uncomfortable had sore knees the whole day after got off from the bus.

At least I would be lying to say I have complaints. The bus arrived on time although it departed later than scheduled time of 18:30. Drivers were friendly and of profound assistance to the commuters. It also arrived 30 minutes later than the scheduled time of 06:35 to the destination, but nonetheless, this wasn't bad as it was expected. Since the bus isn't allocated with ablution facilities, the drivers made sure that we get these facilities every two to four hours along the route at some of their stops.

I enjoyed the route that the bus took, the bus was very comfortable and that caused me to not even feel that im on the long road, the best bus ive ever been on, irizar is cooking

It was a nice experience everything was right the seats, chargering blocks and also the drivers.

No charger type C only the USB one only . It delayed for 2 hours after it departures before 6am at CPT cause I got there 6am on the dot bus was not there nor even signs of it was there got it in Paarl. Otherwise bus is clean and spacious

The overall experience was fine, we traveled safely but the bus was full with cockroaches with made it hard to rest and be comfortable

I'm glad I made it to my destination safely, especially considering how fast the driver was driving to compensate for factors that delayed the trip.

Not because heater is not working,was very cold from cape town to Port Elizabeth

The toilets was disgusting. We only stop in the beginning for a 15min break and 4 hours later for the next stop. So if the toilet are disgusting its makes it very difficult if we only stop 4 or 5 hours later. My boyfriend asked the drivers if he can sit in front and the said no but when we stop to pickup people they can sit there so later in the Bus we just sat in front for some more leg space because my boyfriend is very long. The driver brought us safely to Uitenhage so that is probably the only good thing

I had a great experience with intercity express. The riding was smooth, quick and comfortable seats. However, I'm tall and there isn't enough space for my legs. Other than that, it was a great trip.

I was moved from my booked bus @ 18:20.not seats available. Had to sit behind the driver. Cockroaches crawling around. Not a good experience at all.

I enjoyed the seats as they had a little more leg room. I just didn't like that we arrived at 06:00 in Newton Park instead of 05:10 that was scheduled. It made me late for work.

The bus was comfortable as always. Drivers were friendly too. I really enjoyed my journey ☺️

Was a very smooth, safe drive. The bus arrived exactly on time and dropped us off in PE an hour earlier. It was clean with no bad odors and had enough pit stops. Would definitely book Greyhound again in the future!😁

Journey from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth with your bus was marvelous very comfortable seats and l arrived in time to PE.

I enjoyed everything, the drivers drove safely and comfortable. This was my second time driving with Williams Coaches, will definitely drive with them again.

They were on time , regarding the departure and arrival time. No unnecessary stops were made and the driver was friendly .l like the fact that it has small plastic bags inside in every seat for dirt. A 10 / 10 service .

The passengers had to pay for the luggage even if it's less than 20kg each bag it's R50 because we were three we had to pay R150 which is R50 each and instead of leaving 18:30 the bus left at 19:30 and that bus arrived early before 18:00 the management of passengers is very poor and the guy who is weighing the luggage is taking R50 from each luggage bag of the passenger

The bus didn’t leave at 6:30 as stated on tickets, it stopped about an hour in Mosselbay without any communication.

For your own good never use this bus, they are not reliable the bus didn't come on time,it was suppose to be 18:30pm it came 19:00pm and it was suppose to arrive at 05:20 it's still on the way even now its 11:00am still on the way and they are going to drop us on the way and some other car will come and fetch us

It was my first time using this this ilula bus and am so excited to use it again and again. Wellcome

Drivers managed to take safety decisions when bus was experienced brake problems. I could hear when braking, retarder was not in control. Thanks to them for managing the problem
